Science Riot

In partnership with the University of California-Irvine STEM Program, and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Science Riot is proud to present a brand-new lineup of PhDs, researchers, and post-doc fellows who have used their years of scientific expertise to write some unprecedented punchlines. Join us for a night of laughter, learning, and libations as we delve into science through comedy. This is a virtual event, recorded live on May 10 and broadcast on May 14.

With the on-stage talent of Adam Cayton-Holland as our celebrity guest, this event will feature live, interactive presentations from scientists both in-person on the Oriental stage and beamed in from their home bases in order to comply with COVID safety protocols.

This is a two-part, hybrid event.

  • On Monday, May 10, we will have an in-person audience to enjoy the show. Audience numbers will be limited and socially-distanced to comply with all COVID-safety regulations and all attendees will be masked at all times. We encourage all eligible fans to get the COVID vaccine as soon as possible.
  • On Friday, May 14, we will hold a virtual event for those who are unable to attend the in-person show. The online event will take place on Science Riot’s YouTube channel. When you purchase a ticket for the virtual event, you will receive a confirmation email that contains a private link to the livestream. Click on the link at 7pm MT on May 14 (or a half-hour sooner to live-chat with our scientists) and join the audience for the event! (We still encourage all eligible folks to get a COVID vaccine!)
